N.Z. TENNIS CHAMPIONS TO PLAY AMERICAN DAVIS CUP PLAYERS
(P.A.) Auckland, Nov. 6. New Zealand’s singles champion, R. McKenzie, and his champion doubles partner, N. V. Edwards, both of the Hutt Valley, will be invited by the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association to compete in matches with members of the American Davis Cup team at Auckland on November 21. It is intended to match McKenzie in the singles with one of the Americans and to match McKenzie and Edwards against an American doubles team. It is intended to play singles and doubles matches among members of the American team.
