CALF JUDGING ITINERARY FOR AGRICULTURAL CLUBS
Calf judging itinerary for the Wanganui-Main Trunk Division of the Boys’ and Girls’ Agricultural Clubs has been drawn up. There are 39 clubs to be judged, and this work will commence at Manutahi on Monday, November 4, and will end with the Owhanga club on Thursday, December 12.
School committees are invited to appoint junior judges to act with the senior judges at the individual schools. The executive committee suggests that in school districts where Young Farmers’ Clubs exist, those bodies be invited to nominate one of their members to act as the junior judge at the school. The committee has decided to award Achievement Badges to all pupils who have taken part in club work —roots and/or calves —for three years or more. Further details will be circulated at the end of the season. The itinerary for November with the numbers in brackets to indicate calf entries at schools is:—
