The issue of the writs on November 6 will mean that the supplementary rolls will be closed at 6 p.m. that day. The writs, endorsed with the name of the successful candidate, have to be returned by the returning officers within 40 day s of their issue. Notice will also be given on November 6 of the polling places. These have to be gazetted at least eight days before the closing of nominations.
