Advice has been received that, subject to completion of audit, the profit of Woolworths New Zealand Limited for the year ended October 2, 1946, amounted to £32s,36B,'which is subject to provision for taxation of £200,000. The 17th. annual meeting of shareholders will be held in Sydney on December 10, 1946. A final dividend of 9 per cent., making a total of 14 per cent, for the year, is recommended for payment on December 15, 1946, based on shareholdings as at November 30, 1946.
