BRAZEN TYRE THEFT

| A particularly brazen theft of tyres ’and tubes were committed in Wanganui over the week-end when a thief entered a garage at. the rear of the home of Mr. R. Holly, 10 Dublin Street. Bricks were used to jack up the front of the car so that the front tyres, tubes and rims could be removed. The theft was discovered yesterday morning. Mr. Holly was away for the week-end, but other persons were in the house during the period. The car was intact on Friday evening. Wanganui police are making inquiries into the theft.
