Arthur Rank, in the annual report of the Odeon Cinema Companies. The Odeon trading profit has reached the record figure of £3,000,821, against £2,442,427 last year. Taxation takes 13s in the £l—a total of £1,948,916, for the Treasury. Mr. Rank believes that in two years’ time British films will be firmly established in every world market.
