LOCAL BODY ELECTIONS
, (P.A.) Parliament Bldgs., Oct. 3 In the House of Representatives this afternoon an amendment was made to the Local Elections and Polls Amendment Bill by the Local Bills Committee of lhe House, which reported the Bill back to-day. The amendment provides that the elections of local authorities shall be held on the third Wednesday in November, instead of on the last Wednesday.
