INSPECTING OFFICIAL HAS RETURNED TO REPORT 1 After a short visit to China, where he investigated the suitability of con--1 ditions for New Zealand dairy cattle, I Mr. R. B. Tennent. ijeputy-D'.rector-IGeneral of the Department of AgriIculture, returned to New Zealand by jflyingboal from Sydney. He left the Dominion on July 17, and travelled Io and from China by 'air. Mr. Tennent said there was little he could discuss until he had reported io the Government. There was no doubt China was very short of breeding lock, which had l)(*en depleted by lip? Japanese.
