CYCLIST INJURED

SUSPECTED CASE OF HIT AND RUN What is believed to have been a case of hit and run occurred in Wanganui early yesterday morning, when Mr. P. Ander, 7 Somme Parade, was knocked off his cycle at. the corner of St. George’s Gate and Bell Street. Mr. Ander was found on the road shortly ajltcr midnight. He was conscious but was in a dazed condition. He had a cut. over his left eye slight concussion. A cycle which Mr. Ander had been riding’ was lying nearby, with its back wheel damaged, but there was no sign of a car or any other vehicle. Mr. Ander was taken to the Wanganui General Hospital by the St. John Free Ambulance. His condition last night was reported to be satisfactory.
