WOMAN ATTACKED AND ROBBED

Wellington, July 17 Mrs. Gertrude Laura Crcsswell, managere-js of the Reserve Bank cafeteria, in the Dominion Fanners’ building, Featherston Street, was attacked and robbed of her handbag, containing about £B, when she was about to open the cafeteria on the third floor shortly before 7.30 thi; morn inf. She was bruised about the left temple, cheek and eye, and had to undergo an X-ray examination before being taken home. Her condition this al’ternoon was reported as satisfactory, though she was suffering from shock.
