FOUR RACE MEETINGS TO-DAY
Race meetings will be staged at four centres in the Dominion to-day. At Awapuni the Manawatu Racing Club will conclude its special winter meeting, and the Taranaki Jockey Club’s winter fixture will be held at New Plymouth. The Ohineniuri Jockey Club will stage a winter fixture at Paeroa. and in the South Island the Waimate District Hunt Club will bold its annual steeplechase meeting. Plenty of horses appear to be still available, though the best flat handicap performers are enjoying a spell.
