TARANAKI CLUB APPOINTS HANDICAPPER
Mr. H. Coyle's successor as handicapper to I he Taranaki Jockey Club is Mr. A. V. O'Brien, who ha*. been judge io the Taranaki Club for several years. Mr. O'Brien, whose appointment was made at a meeting of the Taranaki Jockey Club Committee on Monday night, ‘has been handicapper for a number of North Island clubs for the [last ten years and has also compiled the weights for several South Island clubs.
