A CRITICAL SENATE

Recd. 8 p.m. Washington, May 28. President Truman’s Strike Control Bill, which came before the Senate to-day, drew surprisingly hot fire after its easy passage through the House of Representatives last Saturday. The Bill now appears in definite jeopardy, as a coalition of Republicans and pro-Labour Democrats hurled accusations of had faith, ham acting and Fascism against President Truman.
