MEN FOR FARMS
MOKE OFFERING THAN THERE AKE JOBS FOR (P.A.) Palmerston N., May 25. An unusual position has developed in the Manawatu district, there being more men offering for farm work than positions are available. Many men are visiting the office of the national employment service daily, seeking xvork on the land, and have to be placed in other employment. A farmer in Feilding called applications for a farm manager and received 70 replies.
