AUSTRIA WANTS ITALIAN TERRITORY
London, May 24. Austria has asked the "Big Four” for lhe cession of 800 square miles of Italian territory, says the Associated Press Vienna correspondent. The Austrian Foreign Minister. M. Gruber, gave details of the Austrian claims before leaving for Paris to place his case before the Foreign Ministers’ deputies. Austria is seeking restoration of communications in the northern part of the South Tyrol The area involved is about 1300 square miles around Pusteral, restoring to Austria the rail lines from Innsbruck to Lind.
Austria is also asking for an area of 500 square miles around Travise, northern Italy, through which runs Lhe rail line to Trieste.
