ILL-FATED PLANE WIDCH HIT SKYSCRAPER

The “New York Daily News” learns that the pilot of the ill-fated Army Transoort plane which crashed into a Wall Street, skyscraper on Monday, passed up a chance to make an emergency landing on either of two nearby Jersey airfields. This was- revealed when the Army Board began an investigation into the tragedv. Damage tn the skyscrano* i~ estimated at 50.000 dollars. However, no structural damage was caused.
