HOLLAND’S LEAD REDUCED Leading horseman N. B. Holland was riding at Te Rapa on Saturday, as was also his nearest rival. G Hughes, while W. J. Broughton was at Otaki. All three got on the winning list. Holland rode only one winner at the Waikato meeting, but his supporters must have come out with a credit balance on the ledger, for Holland’s mount in the second division of the Otorohanga Hack was Boswell Hill, who ranked 12/14 in order of favouritism. Hughes was on three winners and in addition was beaten a nose only on Rcyal Charter in the principal event, won bv Leigh Hark. Broughton rode the winners of the
