N.Z. NEWSPAPERS, LTD., DIVIDEND (P.A.) Auckland, May 7. Net earnings of New Zealand Newspapers, Ltd., for the year ended March 31, are £47,042, compared with £43,220 last year and £41,168 in 1944. The directors propose to pay a final dividend of Bd., making Is 4d for the year (unchanged), leaving £57,165 to be carried forward. The gross profit was £186,969, and expenses, including directors’ fees and taxation, total £149,340.
