An excellent consignment comprising 12 geldings (colours: 8 bays, 3 greys, 1 grey roan), 8 fillies (colours: 3 bays, 2 iron greys, 2 greys, 1 chestnut). A/c. C. McDonald, Canterbury. 12 Draught mares and geldings, 4 to 9 years, broken all work and sold subject to 3 days’ trial. A/c. Various Clients. 13yr. Chest, mare ’’Dry Wit,” Cynic— Hallowmas mare, stinted to Catanach. lOyr. Chest, gelding Nimrod—thoroughbred mare (an excellent jumper). 7-yr. Grey pony 13.2 hands, an excellent hill and stock pony and a prize winner both ring events and jumping. 7-yr. NOTE: An excellent entry which we have had to limit. Sale will commence at 10.30 a.m. SHARP on the unbroken horses, to be followed by the broken in hacks and heavy horses. All horses consigned by rail must arrive in Wanganui not later than the evening of Friday, April 26, and all unbroken local horses coming by road must arrive at our saleyards not later than 2 p.m. Friday, 26th.
