RANGITIRA LADIES’ GOLF ( LI B.
(0.C.) Hunterville, April 23. Favoured with excellent weather the Rangitira Ladies’ Golf Club opened the season on Wednesday last with a stroke competition which was won by Mrs. J. Taylor. The annual meeting followed in the clubhouse, the election of officers resulting as follows:—Captain, Mrs. A. H. Rhodes; vice-captain, Mrs. P. G. Rhodes; secretary and treasurer, Mrs. W. R. Tolley; handicap manager, Mrs. N. Signal; committee, Mesdames George, Crichton, Pickford. Donovan and Steele. It was decided to continue having match play on Wednesdays and owing to a full list of nrr - nective players not being to hand the draw' for this week’s play (to-day) will be made at the club house.
