Brigadier W. G. Gentry, D. 5.0., 0.8. E., New Zealand staff corps, has been appointed New Zealand representative on the joint chiefs of staff organisation—the British occupational force in Japan—in Australia, succeeding Brigadier Clifton.
Mr. G. L. Stafford, who has been in charge of the secondary department of the Huntly District High School for the past nine years, has been appointed principal of the Teachers’ Training College, Tonga. Mr. Stafford expects to take up his new duties early in May.
