OPENING DAY’S FIELDS The Riverton Racing Club’s Easter meeting, extending over to-day, Monday and Tuesday, will be the main attraction for Southland racing enthusiasts during the holiday week-end. Feature event is the Riverton Cup, which carries a stake of £lOOO, and the fact, that the minimum stake for the day is £250 for the maiden raceKQ gives an indication of the status attained by the fixture.
