Peace Memorials.
The Government would shortly be calling a conference of focal authorities to consider the question of peace memorials in the various centres ar<l districts, said the Mayor, Hon. W. J. Rogers, at a meeting last night of the Wanganui City Council. Several suggestions had already been made regarding types ot war memorials for Wanganui? and the council would have an opportunity of discussi.-g the question.
