Sir,—l was glad to read in your paper recently the out<>oken comments of the Whangarei Council on the disgusting behaviour of the Auckland Watersiders, which is, 1 feel sure, furiously resented by a large majority of the people of New Zealand. It is to be hoped that the next Government will unhesitatingly tackle this scandal. If they do, they will find that they have the firm and, if necessary, active support of all sections of the community. I am, etc., “UP AND AT ’EM.” I. . ™
