NEWSPRINT CARGO

VESSEL DUE IN WANGANUI (P.A.) Auckland, April 11. Carrying the first full cargo of newsprint to be brought to New Zealand since February, 1941, the Norwegian motor-ship Vinland left Liverpool, Nova Scotia, on April 4. According to advice received by the Auckland agents, the Vinland will reach Auckland early in May, and complete discharging at Wanganui, New Plymouth, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. Two complete cargoes, in addition to numbers of part cargoes of newsprint, used to reach New Zealand yearly before the war.
