Mr. C. G. White, 0.8. E., has been appointed by the New Zealand Board of directors of Aspro Ltd., chairman of directors, states a Wellington message.
Mr. Jack Acland, M.P. for Temuka, officially stated yesterday that he had decided to offer his services to the National Party for the Ashburton seat at the next election. Mr. Acland said he based his decision on the ground that he was living well inside the Ashburton electorate, the new boundaries of which incorporate slightly more than half of his present supporters. — Press Ass-n.
