VALUABLE ARCHIVES IN NAPLES Recd. 6 p.m. London, March 5. The archives of Naples are believed to have been almost entirely destroyed in a tire which thieves are supposed to have started in Angevine Castle, says Reuter’s Naples correspondent. Naples lost many valuable collections during the war. The C°r *-ns destroyed State documents oi lhe ancient, kingdom of Naples in the castle of Nola and the library of the Naples Academy when they set fire to the University buildings.
