SURREY MAN’S PROPOSAL
(Soerial Corravondent —N.Z.P.A.) Recd. 7.30 p.m. London, March 6. An instance of the keen desire of many English people to migrate to New Zealand is that of Herbert C. Johnson, of Purley, Surrey. He plans to buy a yacht and, with nine passengers and a crew of three, sail her to the Dominion. The passengei’s, men for preference, with children barred, will be charged £5OO each. Johnson is now seeking a yacht. On arrival in New Zealand he Intends to live in it and charter it out for fishing and cruising. He is investing £5OOO in the voyage, which is expected to start in June and last six to nine months.
