SALVATION ARMY STAFF CHANGES MADE
(P.A.) Wellington, March 6. The following staff changes and promotions in rank in the Salvation Army have been announced by the chief secretary, Colonel Charles Walls: — Brigadier Charles Grav promoted to the rank of Lieut.-Colonel and appointed Field Secretary; Brigadier Albert Robinson (Finance Secretary; promoted to be Lieut.-Colonel: Brigadier Wm. Smith io be training college principal; Briga’dier Alfred Suter, property secretary; Brigadier Samuel Hayes, to be national young people’s secretary for New Zealand: Brigadier Henry Goflin to be special efforts secretary and secretary lor bands and publicity officer; Brigadier Sydney Bridge to be Divisional Commander, Northern Division (Auckland); Major Norman Bicknell to be Divisional Commander, Central Division (Wellington); Major Ernest Riselcy, Division Commander, Canterbury-Westland Division (Christchurch); Major Albert Chandler, Divisional Commander, Southern Division (Dunedin); LieutColonel Rlgnold, Field Secretary, is being transferred 1o Australia East. (New South Wales and Queensland) territory; Lieut-Colonel Sydney Smith, 1 raining college principal, is being transferred to Australia south (headquarters at Melbourne) territory; Lieut-Colonel and Mrs. Horace Smith (People’s Palace, Auckland) are entering retirement, and Brigadier Andrew Brooks, Divisional Commander, Northern (Auckland) Division, is appointed manager of the People’s Palace, Auckland.
