MASS MIGRATION OF JEWS

REPATRIATES FROM RUSSIA MOST OF THEM MOVING INTO GERMANY. Recd. 5.5 p.m. London, Jan. 29. Mass migration has started of 150,000 Polish-Jewish repatriates from Russia, the majority of whom are going to Western Germany, says the “Daily Telegraph’s ' Warsaw correspondent. Already 10,000 have reached East Poland.

These figures were released by the Jewish Central Committee, which is advising Jewish repatriates to stay in Poland and resettle in German territory. One member of the committee admitted that most of these migrants will undoubtedly filter into rhe Eritish. or American zones in Germany during the next twelve months. The Jewish Committee has launched an appeal to World Jewry loi help in relief work, but states that Jews abroad, so far, have not sent one cent to Poland. Second-hand clothing has been given, but some of it is useless.
