HEALTH CAMP TRUST BOARD
SALES OF HEALTH STAMPS It was reported at a meeting of the Wanganui Hea.t.n Trust. Board held on Monday, by Mr. Frank H. Donaldson, that the sales of health-postage stamps in tne recent, appeal amounted to £1668 and that, this amount would have been exceeded had stamps been available However, it was satisfactory to record that the quota allocated to Wanganui had been disposed of and that in addition £2O had been received in cash donations. Mr. Donaldson stated that he had been very ably assisted bv a committee of ladies, under the chairmanship of Mrs Gould Fennell, and a resolution placing on record lhe board’s appreciation of the services of these ladies was carried unanimously. In connection with the future of the Wanganui Health Camp it was deci led that Mr. A. R. Donaldson should accompany the secretary to the next meeting of the New Zealand Federation of Health Camps at Wellington so that the claims of Wanganui should be thoroughly explored. In the meantime it was agreed that children from lhe Wanganui district needing health eamp treatment shall be sent, to the Otaki Health Camp, the local trust board to be responsible for the fees.
After the meeting, at the invitation of Mr. Hope Gibbons, an inspection was made of 35 acres of ground recent Iv acquired bv him and which at a later date will be handed over to the Health Cairo Trust Board.
