WANGANUI - CITY COUNCIL PROPOSED DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS LOAN—£6I,OOO. r pHE Wanganui City Council hereby gives Public Notice that it proposes under the terms of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” to raise a Special Loan of £61,000 (the sanction of the Local Government Loans Board pursuant to the provisions of "The Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926," having been obtained to the raising of the loan) for the following purposes, namely: The carrying out of improvements, renewals and extensions of various main sewers and outfalls in the City and providing all materials, appliances and other matters and things necessary for such purposes. The security for such Loan shall be a special rate of 609 d. in the £ on the rateable value on the basis of th« unimproved value of all rateable property in the City of Wanganui and the said loan or any part thereof together with interest thereon shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual or halt yearly instalments extending over a term of twenty-five (25) years. It is not proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan or the first year's instalment or instalments of interest and principal on the loan. Dated this 18th day of January, 1946.
