U.S. LOAN FOR GREECE
Reed. 6 p m. Washington, Jan. 13. The Export and Import Bank has granted Greece a 25,000,000 dollar loan for essential supplies of equipment. 'ihe Slate Department issued a warning that a further loan would not he forthcoming unless Greece reduced Government expenditures, control icd inflation, rigorously increased Civil Service efficiency and endeavoured to revive trade and industry.
