AUSTRALIAN CHAIRMAN OF SECURITY COUNCIL
Reed 9 p.m. Canberra, Jan. 14. The leader of the Australian delegation to the United Nations Assembiy, Mr. N. J. Makin, will be the i first chairman of the World Security Council, according to an announcement by the Minister of External I Affairs, Dr. Evatt, to-day. Mr. Makin ! will be chairman for a month, after which it will pass to Brazil in accordI ance with the rules laid down by the preparatory commission that the chairmanship rotation in alphabetical order.
