WANGANUI east retain TROPHY At the week-end a bowling team from Raetihi visited Wanganui East and played a challenge game for the Bannerette, which the holders retained.

Three to the challengers on the 9th made the score 14 to 13 against, them. Their next score was on the 15th with a four, making the score 23 to 17 against them. The holders gradually increased their lead, finishing up with nine points to the good. During the course of the game the holders* secured two full hands and a seven and Raetihi notched one full hand, one four and two threes. The players were:—
