NO RUSSIAN ATOM BOMB
Recd. 11 p.m. Washington, Jan. 8. President Truman stated that he liud no information which would lead him to believe that Russia had produced an atomic bomb of improved design and capable of being mass produced.
It was reported yesterday that Dr. Armattoe, a noted scientist in Britain, had stated that Russian scientists had been put to work on atomic energy and had perfected a bomb more power.ul than thos • used by United States’*and Britain, and more easily produced.
