LOYALTY TO FRANCO
SENIOR SPANISH SERVICE OFFICERS
Recd. 12.10 a.m. Madrid, Jan. 7. Two hundred senior Army, Navy and Air Force officers vowed their “firm and unconditional adherence” to General Franco when he received them at the Emprad Palace ]as; night. Franco told the officers that, peoples which had entrusted the defence of their independence to others had been taught a hard_lesson.
