U.S. FORCES IN EUROPE.
“The United States occupation forces in Germany will be composed of 300,000 men,” announced ’General McNarney, of the American forces in Europe. He added that the return to their homes of American troops would be no longer governed by available shipping, bur by the military necessity of keeping a force in Europe in efficient operation.
