DEMAND THAT THEY BE RETURNED TO RUSSIA London, Dec. 23. According to Moscow radio, an “Armenian National Council,’.’ formed by Armenians living in Alexandria, has Issued a demand that the Armenian provinces “seized” bv Turkey must be returned to the Soviet. The Armenian Council said it would urge the return to Armenia of nationals living abroad.
DISBANDING GERMAN FORCES WELCOME NEWS FOR RUSSIA.
London, Dec. 23. Welcom ng the British decision to disband Wehrmacht personnnel in the British zone of Germany, a Moscow radio commentator. Leo Yolynsky, alleged it had been proved that Russian allegations were true. “A telling blow has been dealt tu professional liars uhu vainly attempted to sow doubt concerning Russian fWports about large Hitlerite armed WDits in the British zone.” he sa d. “This fact is notv officially recognised.” The commentator added that the disbandment was a real step towards ensuring that Germany could never again wage a war of aggression. He hoped the Nazis who had taken refuge in Hamburg and elsewhere would "be shown their places.”
