GRATUITY PAYMENTS
FORMS NOW AVAILABLE Forms on which applications may be made for the New Zealand war services gratuity are now available at all post olfices in Wanganui. The gratuity is computed at the following rates in respect of service as a fully mobilised or regular member of any of His Majesty’s naval, military, or air forces: (a) At the rate of 2s 6d a day in respect of service outside New Zealand, on the same basis as assessment of deferred'pay; (b) at the rate of 8d a day in respect of service within New Zealand.
