GENERAL PATTON

CONDITION UNSATISFACTORY Recd. 6 pm. _ Heidelberg, Dec. 21. A communique issued by the Army Hospital states that General Patton spent an uncomfortable day and his general condition is unsatisfactory, due to excessive bronchial secretions which developed the previous night, embarrassing respiration and making feeding difficult. CONDITION GROWS WORSE Recd. 12.58 a.m. Frankfurt, Dec. 21. It is officially announced that General Patton’s condition has taken a serious turn for the worse.

General Patton was injured in a motor accident and is making a fight against paralysis.
