SCORZA ESCAPES
Milan, Dec. 19. | Police detained the rector of a |Jesuit convent after the escape of a [man believed to be Caro Scorza, exi Fascist Party secretary. ! The deputy chief of police in Milan i.said a man dressed in a monk’s habit [was arrested on December 15 on suspicion that, he was Scorza, but w.a.b [released after the rector assured the police It was a case of mistaken identity. Photographs latei'indicated that the [man actually was Scorza, but by then |he had escaped. The rector turned 'himself over Io the police spontaneously. It has not, yet been decided ■ whether a charge would be made against him.
