EFFORT TO LYNCH TWO Rccd. 6 p.m. London, Dec. 21. A Hungarian crowd attacked and attempted to lynch Ihe former exMinisters, Endre and Saky, while they were on their way to Court under police escort for continuation of their trial as war criminals, says Reuter’s Budapest correspondent. The men took refuge in a nearby theatre, hut both were beaten up before a police car came to their rescue. The crowd also beat up a passer-by who objected to the attack aga nst tne prisoners.

The former Ministers are charged with responsibility tor the deportation of 700,000 Hungarian Jews.
