Advice has been received that His Majesty the King has approved the loilowing mention in dispatches to Hu undermentioned personnel of the Royal New Zealand Navy:— Mentioned in dispatches for service during Ihe Japanese attack on Singapore: Temporarv-Lieulenant Launcelot Hugh Herd, R.N.Z.N.V.R., Wellington. Mentioned in dispatches for services in the war in Europe: TemporaryLieutenants Richard Lloyd Bullock, R.N.Z.N.V.R., Christchurch: Graham Weldon Finch, R.N.Z.N.V.R , Wellington; Owen Christopher Johnstone, R.N.Z.N.V.R., Timaru; Temporary-Sun Lieutenants Douglas Colin Findlay, R.N.Z.N.V.R., Auckland; Thomas Marmaduke Sunderland, R.N.ZN.V.R., Havelock North: Petty Officer Brian Stacey, of London; Temporary-Suii Lieutenant Kenneth Inman Carr Clark, R.N.Z.N.V.R., Nelson. his cycle at 12.45 p.m. in Guytovi Street on December 5 and was admitted to the Wanganui Hospital with a fractured thigh . Ho collapsed or December 12 and died the following day.
