REPRESENTATIVE CRICKET DURING HOLIDAYS Three representative Wanganui cricket teams to play matches at home and away during the Christmas and New Year holiday period have been announced. The following team has been selected to play North Rangitikei at Tiaihape on December 26: J. K. Glover, J. L. Bergerson, R. E. Thomas, L. Bell-Booth, B. Sloan, H. M. H. Salmon, R. London, A. Barnett, R. Cargill, H. Pidwell, D. Deere. Mr. J. Timbs is manager of the team. It will assemble at 8 a.m. at Foster’s Hotel corner on December 26. The following team has been selected to play Rangitikei at Wanganui on Cook's Gardens, on December 29 and 30, starting at 11 a.m.: J. K. Glover, J. L. Beygerson, R. E. Thomas, W. A. Priest, L. Bell-Booth, H. Cuming, H. M. H. Salmon, D. Deere, J. Keats, R London. L. Davies. The following team has been selected to play Taranaki, at New Plymouth, on January 1 and 2: J. K. Glover, J. L. Bergerson, R. E. Thomas, W. A. Priest, E. K. Hunt. L. W. Condliffe, L. Davies, H. F. Low, G. Williams. R. Brown, G. S. Powell, H. M. S. Salmon.
The second-grade representative team to play Manawatu. at Palmerston North, on January 1. is: Tuffin, Timbs, Cameron, Ellery, Pidwell, Barnett. Cudby, London, Head, Adams, Cargill.
