GIANT U.S. BOMBER
New York, Doc. 17. The Army Air Force has disclosed details of a now bomber, the Consolidated Vultee XB 36, now almost, completed. It weighs over 250,0001b5. and has an operating radius of 5000 miles, compared with the Superfortress 140,OOOlbs and 1600 miles. The fuselage of the new bomber is 163 feet long. The lines resemble a Superfortress, but the six engines are sot in the after-part of the wing, and push. A transport version is being built for Fan-American Airways.
