By “nobbling” all but one dog in a race with fish impregnated with a drug known as Chloretone, a swindling gang, on December 8. cleared up £lOO,OOO on a greyhound race at White City Stadium says the “Daily Mail.”

A member of the gang secreted himself behind the hay kennel and waited until an earlier race was being run and attention concentrated on the competitors. He then nipped out and gave the/ish to the dogs kennelled for the ‘la-1 race. Bookmakers throughout England were astounded as the rush of money for an unknown dog named Bald Truth, which was the only unharmed entrant for the last race. Bald Truth won by 15 lengths. Cloretone does not show effect until the dogs are excited and cnasing the hare.
