REPRESENTATIVE AT LABOUR PARTY CONFERENCE (0.C.) Bulls, Nov. 11. Mr. W. Kearney, delegate lor the Bulls branch of the Labour Party, is visiting * Wellington for the annual New Zealand Labour Conference. He will also be visiting his two sons, Messrs. John and Herbert. Kearney. R.S.A. QUEEN CARNIV AL An executive meeting of the Bulls branch of the R.S.A. was held in Bulls last night. Considerable time was spent discussing the campaign, and a good deal of ground was covered before the chairman (Mr. J. 11. Ellery) closed the meeting. Following a question as to whether the Bulls Queen should have any maids of honour, it, wasL decided that she should have two. * A sub-committee is to be set up in Parawanui. There are a number of enthusiastic supporters in that area and on November .1 (> they intend holding a card evening in the Parewanui School. Mi's. Robins and Mrs. Huddleston are again conveners for a card evening to be held in the Clifton Hall. Bulls, on November 23. at 8 p.m. Dances are to be held on Novembet 29 and December 20. The tennis club has generously offered the committee the use of its courts for a tennis afternoon. A bright discussion ensued with ;. propose I raffle. A permit has her . obtained to run one and thn business people of Bull-, have generously donated many articles for prizes. II is hoped to have the raffle books out this -week.
