TERROR IN MALAYA
MYSTERIOUS ORGANISATION SPREADS RUMOURS
Reed. 9 p.m. London. Nov. 10. A mysterius terrorist organisation is operating throughout Malay. It started a rumour sweeping through the bazaars that “the night of the long knives” for the British and their friends will fall before Thursday., says Reuter’s correspondent. The organisation’s only discernible object is to paralyse British military administration by producing chaos. Its hand is seen by the authorities behind th? recent fond riots and labour troubles. No British personnel so far have been molested, but thousands of families in Malayan towns are living nightly in terror, behind barred doors. Some are under military guard. X"
