WITHDRAWAL FROM CZECHOSLOVAKIA

U.S. AND SOVIET TROOPS

Recd. 6 p.m. Washington, Nov. 10. The State Department announced that the United States and Russia are withdrawing forces from Czechoslovakia by December 1, because the “Allied forces are no longer needed to protect the Czechoslovakia people against Nazi depredations.” The announcement pointed*out that, the presence of Allied forces undoubtedly constitutes a drain on Czechoslovak economy, delaying recovery and rehabilitation.
